everyone is letting this go too easily. He lied to her to reassure her/ save face for how he acted in casa. He’s a game player I DOUBT he would have brought alahna back. But we don’t actually know what he would have done… because he didn’t have to make that choice. He did NOT choose her. And that matters because he told her he did.
