So I’ve decided to start carrying you all along in some of my behind the scenes moments because a lot of people keep saying, “Post everything!” 😅 Honestly, that’s not always possible because sometimes I just want to fully enjoy the moment with them without constantly holding my phone just bonding, playing, training, and enjoying their company. That happens a lot more than you all probably think . Butttt, I’ll definitely try to show more behind the scenes moments from now on since this page is mainly about educational content and helping fellow dog owners learn things they may not already know. Soooo… let’s get into it So I give my dogs plain, unsweetened Greek yogurt once a week simply because it does a LOT of good for them. Greek yogurt is packed with probiotics which help support healthy digestion and improve gut health. A healthy gut is super important for dogs because it can affect everything from their appetite to their immune system and even their skin health. It’s also a great source of calcium and protein, which helps support strong bones, healthy teeth, and muscle development especially for active dogs that are always running around like tiny athletes 😂 Another reason I love it is because it can help soothe the stomach a little, especially after stressful days, medications, or minor tummy upset. Plus most dogs absolutely LOVE it, so it also works as a healthy little treat or enrichment snack. Sometimes I freeze it into lick mats or mix a little with fruits like blueberries or bananas for extra nutrients and mental stimulation. Very important though, it has to be PLAIN and UNSWEETENED Greek yogurt. No added sugar, no flavored yogurt, and definitely nothing containing xylitol because that can be extremely dangerous for dogs. Of course, every dog is different, so moderation is key. Too much dairy can upset some dogs’ stomachs, which is why I only give it occasionally and in small amounts 🙏 #dogdaily #doglifestyle #dogloverforever #dogcommunity
