i like the new roll but the average of 2d6 is 7. i don’t know how many extra ingredients you’re normally using but it just feels like something that’s not going to come into play very often. maybe that’s the intention though! just my two cents. the average of 2d4 is 5 which isn’t much more restrictive than 7 but obviously lowers the cap from 12 to 8 while maintaining the obvious minimum of 2. feels like that could maybe be more interesting and has a better chance of having an impact. either way, i like the idea, keep it up!

I feel like the extra ingredients roll is unnecessary, since you generally do a good job of highlighting the rolled ingredients! I can't remember an episode where I ever felt like you were hiding rolls behind extra ingredients.
