Melanie is his deepest connection but continues to keep the door cracked bc he enjoys the attention. He wants to eat his cake and have it too. It’s tricky with shows like this bc people end up justifying it as “exploring, keeping options open etc” bc that’s part of the tv show format. But then there’s a diff between being genuinely open and repeatedly circling back to one person while testing everyone else out. At a certain point, repeated behavior stops being “I’m confused & I made a mistake.” If he keeps choosing Melanie for the emotional safety and connection while still entertaining other options whenever they appear, it’s a choice

on their off days, which is the reason for no eps on wednesdays and aftersuns, they are obligated to see a therapist in the villa. their usual conversations start with “how are you feeling in your connection” or “who do you think you will explore today?” they then start suggesting options like “you keep talking to this person for comfort, why don’t you try talking to this person?” i have a feeling that when melanie sees the therapist, it definitely influences her decisions. i think jana explained off days in a podcast

the Sol thing i can get past that cause they were having problems, what actually annoyed me was Casa, cause they were in a very good place before he left. he had no reason to be doing all that in Casa. even she was hurt by that
