i dont get why people say polsci isnt a good pre-law. i think if you want to be a money-hungry lawyer, it won't make sense to take polsci for undergrad as your pre-law. but if you really want to practice law with principles, polsci gives you a good picture of the wicked problems of our country. from there, you can use law with polsci concepts to slowly but surely help in solving these problems :)

Hi. Advice ko lang sa mga may plan mag pursue ng law and as a polsci grad, much better to take other pre-law course rather than polsci. I suggest accountancy, legma, or econ.

hello! polsci graduate here! This program really equips you with legal background since contrary to the popular belief, andami po law subjects kasi it depends sa curriculum. Samin sa University of Saint Louis-Tuguegarao we enhanced our curriculum and eventually approved by CHED. I will post below our courses hihihihiji enroll na rin kayo sa USLT Polsci if want nyo mag-OJT sa Senate and Trial Courts😍😍

Hi guys! Sorry if some of you were surprised by my post. It wasn't meant to say that I'm guaranteed to become all of those things or that my future is already written.
It was simply a reflection of where I hope to go and the kind of person I aspire to become. There's a difference between a plan and a prediction, and this was my way of sharing my dreams and goals with myself and with others.
I strongly believe in manifestation, hard work, and prayers. I believe that no dream is too big when you're willing to put in the effort, stay disciplined, and trust God's timing.
Maybe life will take me somewhere different, and that's okay. But I'd rather have goals that challenge me than limit myself because of fear or other people's doubts.
At the end of the day, this wasn't about proving anything to anyone. It was simply a reminder to myself of what I'm working towards.
Thank you to everyone who supported and encouraged me. And to those who don't believe in it yet, that's okay too — I'll just keep working until my efforts speak for themselves.

Hi, aspiring lawyer here! I'm a polsci student shifted in legma and what I can advise is take any pre-law you want. Pag dating sa law school back to zero. Hindi tayo pare-parehas ng capacity and learning curve, what works for us may not work for others so be it. But one thing I can advise is that if you can focus on literacy and english writing might as well focus on it. Enjoy your college programs, your pre-law, whether you're in polsci, legma, accountancy, educ or whatever. BE IT.

There is no such thing as “best pre law.” Di yan totoo. What matters more is your foundation in critical thinking and oral/written communication skills. May mga kilala akong CPA who failed tax at polsci grads who failed political law.

polsci grad here! i love that you planned your path already 🤍 i know that there are a lot of pre-law courses being discussed, but taking polsci is also okay. i hope u dont feel discouraged w everyone’s comments. advantage is good but so is perspective, and you will definitely learn that in polsci. it’s always nice to have direction on where you want to be. but i just hope you don’t pressure yourself so much every step of the way since this is a bit tight. leave room for growth and grace. 🫶🏻

One thing I learned in law school is to always leave room for error. Hehe

As a polsci student, nakaka discourage makabasa ng “wag polsci”, pero to think of it dipende parin naman sayo yan, if you have the will talaga. Siguro nga may mas better option for those planning to pursue law pero that does not mean na hindi maganda sa polsci or wala kang matutunan.

2nd year polsci student nako sa aug, and balak ko mag law school after bachelor’s degree.
