They are very good about it, but who remembers Sears and Craftsman? You could do absolutely anything, and I mean anything, to a tool, and Fred or Betty would not even look at it and throw it in a bin and say, "Go get yourself a new one."

Fun fact the master force brand at Menards also does a lifetime warranty, no need for receipt just bring in the broken tool. Love this!

I will need to make a switch. I purchased my shovel at Lowes, when it broke they did exchange it but asked for my recipt. also at the third shovel for the month they told me they would not honor the warranty unless I Upgraded to the premium shovel in stock. I have just been babying my shovel so I dont replace it as often.

It’s only for husky brand, because it’s Home Depot’s brand. Any other brand with “lifetime warranty” if bought over 90 days has to be taken care of through the manufacturer. (Home Depot service desk employee)

Ace Hardware sold us some straight edge hedge shears with the wooden handles and one of the wooden handles broke and Ace refused to take it back. They lost us as customers now
