@zaccupples: Hip pinching at the bottom of your squat? Here's what's actually happening. That pinch happens when you can't move your pelvis out of the way of your leg. Pressure builds in the joint — ouch. The fix is improving pelvic rotation as you bring the leg up. Start with the step-through: knee on the ground, foam roller on the side of the hip, outer thigh stays down while you rotate the top leg back and forth. Three sets of twenty. Progress to stagger squats to drive rotation in the loaded position. Then connects — knee and opposite elbow to midline with a nasal inhale — to drive maximal rotation dynamically. Save this if hip pinching is limiting your squat depth.
