The parental controls are perfectly normal. I did not have parental controls, and younger me ended up exposed to explicit media and developed an addiction. I will never have children, but these are great rules to have.

As unfortunate as this, be prepared for bullying due to them not having a phone, I was already older at this point but my little sister didn’t get a phone until she was 14 and was bullied so hard, it was so bad that it became a big factor of why we moved

My friend didn’t get a phone until she was 13 she also had parental controls and she wasn’t aloud to spend the night anywhere without her parents. She hides almost everything from her parents now
