Definitely an opinion. Planet Rock sampled Kraftwerk. Kraftwerk was heavily sampled in the 80s.

Yaz, ABC, Depeche Mode, Thomas Dolby, New Order. Those 12” mixes were my early to mid 80s playlist growing up in Detroit. Mojo was the conduit.
