You also need to look at the ingredients in your shampoo and conditioner. Mondays brand will make you lose your hair. I was dealing with the same thing until I found out they were the reason. MY hair is so thick again.

Just so you know that’s normal. Especially if you wear your hair up a lot. On average the human head sheds about 100 hairs a day. If you wear your hair up, it does not allow the shedded hairs to fall free so it will come out in the shower. You will go through periods where your hair seems to be losing growth and thickness as it is regrowing back. But it will restore, this is normal. So many people don’t understand how imperfect the human body is because societal expectations expect perfection. Your body is constantly regenerating, constantly restoring. Learn to accept what is happening and allow your body do what it needs to do.

Little fact: PEOPLE lose up to 100 strands of hair/day. That is just natural shedding. Add in to that factor that a lot of us don't wash our hair daily. So when you lose a handful in the shower; most if that is just natural shedding built up from not brushing/washing daily. The time for concern is when you see this amount daily. But also; take into consideration your natural texture and density of hair. And treating your scalp will help; but other factors could be the cause: menopause, diet, illness, etc. Don't buy into fads hoping for a miracle cure. Go to a Dr or dermatologist. Most importantly support someone who is selling to everyone; not just white women. Because having a different hair texture or being a different color or "gender"doesn't separate anyone from the hair loss club. We all suffer from hair loss; & if this product works; it should work for everyone.
