What era are we saying this is? It's got to be Victorian, surely. With all the fanciness. The Victorians loved a bit of OTT architecture for their houses didn't they? And I have to say I love it too. I really do with they made houses like this again. Quite a few companies try (and fail) to recreate Georgian houses, but never Victorian like this. They are always watered down and just nowhere near as wild. So if you want this kind of thing the UK is definitely the place to look. At least when we're talking about the outside of the house. The inside, I would have prefered something as wild as the outside, it is a touch modern for me. Get a load of dark paint, parlous palms and taxidermy in there, that's what I say!I must say, I do like some of the paint choices though, which makes up for the grey... almost. Despite all that, I would give several internal organs to live here. #houses #oxford
