This is what happens when your country turns socialist/communist. It’s the strangest thing as an American to ever see you’ve got a super poor country super poor people, and generally in America that means that you’re somewhat humble, coupled with being grateful for what you have and if someone is generous enough to help you out in any way you express your gratitude. but socialism and communism breeds an entitled, ungrateful, spoiled country of people; looking for a premium handout. I mean, we could have just sent nothing and let them suffer and that type of attitude from those who receive aid from the US and other countries makes those countries people think twice about the aid that they just gave you saying why do this why? Why would we do this? Maybe even wonder if the people of Venezuela don’t want the aid that they receive then just take it back and leave them to figure out solutions to their own problems by themselves
