Coming from a incoming sophomore, get erasers, shit ton of pencils, and really good folders. No paper or cheap made ones. Trust me- my folders were breaking.

Advice from a rising junior: DO NOT BUY anything until u go to ur first class and ur teacher tells u exactly what u need for the class or unless ur teacher added u to google classroom early and posted a supply list. For insurance, my ap stats teacher requires us to have a separate 2+ inch binder just for this class, no folders and notebooks permitted, my ap lang teacher wants us to have a folder and an notebook (again only dedicated for this class), and my ap physics 1&2 teacher wants us to keep separate binders for phys 1 and phys 2 but keep all the notes together in one notebook. Different teachers have different expectations, so if in middle school u were fine organizing all ur stuff in smth like “morning binder” and “afternoon binder” this will not work in high school
