Omo make nobody advice me again oo 😔 Today, I learned an expensive lesson. I spent my last money on transportation to attend a job interview, only to discover that I wasn't qualified for the role. It was disappointing, not just because of the money, but because the situation could have been avoided. A simple CV screening before inviting candidates for physical interviews would save applicants time, money, and unnecessary stress. Many job seekers make real sacrifices just to show up, especially in today's economy. This isn't about blaming anyone. It's a reminder that a more efficient recruitment process benefits both employers and candidates. Reviewing CVs first, conducting initial phone or virtual screenings, and inviting only shortlisted applicants for in-person interviews can make a significant difference. To my fellow job seekers: keep going. Every experience, even the frustrating ones, teaches us something. And to recruiters and hiring agencies: please consider the financial realities many candidates face. A thoughtful hiring process can go a long way.
