I like the idea of a container home, but what’s the point when you still have to stud the entire inside? Plus u know that’s gonna be boiling hot in the sun.

@coldbloodedexotic: This still doesn't change the fact that there are 42 million kangaroos in Australia and only 3 million people in Jamaica. Which means if the kangaroos were to invade Jamaica, each person would have to fight 14 kangaroos.

The structural integrity of any shipping container goes out of the window the very moment you cut a hole into it. I love tiny homes but container homes are expensive if you're ensuring you have a home that will last.

It’s nonsense. You bought two shipping containers, and yet there's still a wooden frame inside... So it's much simpler, cheaper, and better to just build it out of wood from the start

😳 This is pointless if you are going to fully frame the interior; losing at least a foot of interior width...Spray foam DTM, then drywall maybe, but the insulation R-value is lowered and you still need to run ELEC prior to foam (which many builders/electricians don't like to do... And mini-splits may be OK, but not ideal for the deep-south in the summer or the north in the winter... I have built homes that are just as durable, probably less expensive, but are larger, more flexible, and definitely more efficient than that; and I haven't even touched on garages, attics, and or basements...
