oh my goodness though, I spent a good few days doing it with the stoma nurse in the hospital. we decided I was competent, to empty and change it. went home, oh my goodness me did I mess up that first change, panicked, cried, absolute nightmare. 3.5 years on I can change a bag, that's leaked, crouching down at the back of a cinema, with my phone torch for light😂😂

I just did my first solo change! I'm so proud of myself, I was more embarrassed about cleaning it in front of someone, even though they see this sort of stuff all the time 😅
