He did it because sometimes hitters see the block and hit it higher so it only touches the fingertips and goes out, and he folded so the hitter can hit out, but hitter actually hit inside the court

he’s technically back row in this rotation. He tries to jump set but the ball obviously is going to cross over, and because of this it’s illegal for him to block since he’s back row

Николов выходил с задней линии, а игроки задней линии не могут касаться мяча выше верхнего края сетки. Именно поэтому он и согнулся, ведь если бы он коснулся мяча или поставил блок это была бы ошибка, а так был шанс что нападающий ударит под себя и попадёт в Николова который согнулся и от него мяч отскочит вверх прямо в руки защитникам
