I’m 59 zero breast cancer. Was a standard risk. But my bilateral mastectomy for IDC is Wednesday next week. It was shocking. I’ll be a big advocate now. I’ve already been very open at work reminding everyone to get their mammograms

Thank you for this information. Calculating my lifetime risk has been very confusing as different providers have given different estimates. I started MRIs last year and have been getting mammograms for over a decade. It’s stressful, but my mom survived triple negative breast cancer so it feels better going for the screenings than not.

yes just had to have a diagnostic Mammogram plus ultrasound

don't need a calculator here! Father's side; 25 siblings 8 out of ten aunts, 20 out of 52 female cousins & one male cousin all had or have breast cancer! Iget checked once a year!
