@____hennie: After many hours of planning, checking best routes and saving every TikTok I saw… this ended up being the perfect trip for us. A few things that made all the difference: 📍 Stay in Bruneck (or Dobbiaco) and use it as your base instead of changing hotels every day. 🌅 Wake up early. Tre Cime at 6am and hiking up Seceda before the first cable cars were 100% worth the alarms. 🥾 Don’t rush the hikes. Some of our favourite memories were breakfast on the mountain, stopping at the rifugios for pasta and beer, and simply sitting with the views. ☀️ Summer tip: these hikes are very exposed once you’re above the tree line. Bring sunscreen, a hat, electrolytes and more water than you think you’ll need. If I could change one thing, I’d stay one more day. 🤍 #dolomites #dolomiti #trecime #seceda #lagodibraies

Just take into account that the dolomites are absolutely flooded by German and American tourists in high season and genuinely lose their charm when it's overcrowded, you'll be in traffic a lot of the time so just skip high season and busy weekends and you'll enjoy it at the it's best.

Could I ask why you recommend reaching seceda before the first cable cart at 8:30? Not sure whether to take the first cable cart up (mid way and hike the rest up) or go earlier and hike the whole way up before the cable carts open.
