In case it need to be specified: I'm focusing on Wanderer's perception of things, I'm aware Ei didn't expected him to be so human and all, that there are nuances/differences that play roles in their (sanddone and wanderer) different treatments etc. I know Ei have her wrongs but I dislike the sentiment of some that blame Ei to not have been more motherly/act like a mom and would have wanted to force her to be so. Even if she would have try that somehow, she would have failed to care properly for him because she was esp in a very bad place mentally and lacked the emotional maturity back then (doesnt mean it in a insulting way). Not everyone is made to be a mother and it's okay and no one should ever be forced to be so. It's valid to instead question her definition of freedom and her ways of having "set him free". I've already explored that subject a bit in the past on Twitter but maybe I should do it again here. As I already said Sandrone and Wanderer have obvious similarities but also differences.
