@isakposting0: The Babylonians (c. 1894–539 BCE) were one of the most influential civilizations of ancient Mesopotamia, centered around the city of Babylon in what is now central Iraq. At their height under King Hammurabi (r. c. 1792–1750 BCE) and later the Neo-Babylonian Empire (626–539 BCE), their territory stretched across most of modern-day Iraq, as well as parts of Syria, Kuwait, southeastern Turkey, and southwestern Iran, eventually extending into the Levant, including modern-day Israel, Palestine, Jordan, and Lebanon. The Babylonians were renowned for their advances in law, mathematics, astronomy, architecture, literature, and engineering. They built monumental temples and city walls, developed one of history’s earliest comprehensive legal systems—the Code of Hammurabi—and made major contributions to science that influenced civilizations for centuries. Their empire came to an end in 539 BCE, when Babylon was peacefully conquered by the Achaemenid Persian Empire under Cyrus the Great, but their legacy continued to shape the ancient world. #Babylon #Mesopotamia #AncientHistory #HistoryTok #Babylonians

بًلَآدٍ مًآبًيَنِ آلَنِهّريَنِ :
According to recent studies, it has been proven that the Babylonians did not disappear but rather merged with the Arabs. This means that one of the ancestors of the Arabs of Iraq today are the Babylonians. Well, how is that? Before and after the Islamic conquest, the tribes that were called the Nabataeans of Iraq, who are descendants of the Babylonians, Akkadians, and Arameans, became Arabized and converted to Islam. At the time of the Islamic conquest, these tribes gradually entered the Arab lands for protection, agriculture, and other reasons, and they merged completely over time. Therefore, you see many, but not all, whose facial features resemble those in the ancient inscriptions: arched eyebrows, dark skin, brown eyes, a defined jaw, a hooked nose, a thick beard, and so on. So, the Arabs of Iraq can say that they belong to the Babylonian civilization, but not 100%. Moreover, Hammurabi came from the same region as the Arabs. You could call it Assyrian, but historical fact proves that the Babylonians were different from the Assyrians, and that the Arabs of Iraq are genetically closer to them. Before you report my comment or speak about me, you can read historical books and modern international studies. As for me, what I know is that the Babylonians are one of my ancestors, but this is not certain since I am now an Arab, so I don't know what percentage of my lineage traces back to Babylon or if my origins are even there. And above all, this is scientifically proven; I'm not just making things up.
