Epilogue — Part I Lena’s Diary August 20, 2026 — 1:43 A.M. I don't know why I'm writing this. Maybe because I'm still too overwhelmed to sleep. Maybe because every time I close my eyes, I see her standing there again. Miu. She wasn't supposed to come. At least, that's what I thought. P'Joy told me she was busy with work. > “Nong is busy. She won't be coming.” And I believed her. Of course I did. I understood. Still, there was a tiny part of me that wished she could be here. I just didn't expect that when I turned around— she'd actually be there. Waiting for me. With a flower in her hand. A card hidden behind her back. And that smile. God. That smile. I don't think she knows what that smile does to me. Or maybe she does. Maybe that's why she smiled like that. I don't even remember deciding to run toward her. I just did. One second I was standing there, surrounded by cameras and people and noise. The next, I was in her arms. I think I said, “You came,” because I couldn't think of anything else. She told me she'd hurried over. She'd run for it. They wanted her to finish at six, but she asked them to change it. And somehow, they finished two hours earlier. Two hours. Just so she could be there. For me. I keep thinking about that. Not because she changed her schedule. Not because she rushed through work. But because she never made it sound like some grand sacrifice. She just looked at me and said— “How could I not come? It's a special day for you.” Like there was never another option. Like being there was the easiest decision she'd ever made. And I think that's what got me. Because what am I supposed to do with a love that makes showing up feel so natural? I don't know. I just know that I melted. Completely. And then she kissed my shoulder. So quickly. So softly. Maybe nobody noticed. But I did. I always notice the little things she does. That's the problem. Or maybe that's the best part. I notice everything. The way she smiles before she says something she's nervous about. The way she looks away when she gets shy. The way her fingers find mine without either of us thinking about it. The way she looks at me when she thinks I'm not looking. Especially that. Those eyes. God. Those eyes. I don't know how someone can say so much without saying anything at all. Tonight, they were saying everything. I'm here. I'm proud of you. I came for you. And somehow— I'm not going anywhere. Maybe that's why I couldn't stop looking at her. Maybe that's why the cameras didn't matter anymore. Because for a moment, the entire premiere disappeared. There was just her. And me. And this strange feeling in my chest that I still don't know how to name. Except maybe I do. Love. I love her. There. I've written it down. I don't know why that feels scarier than saying it in my head. Maybe because now it's real. It's sitting here on a page where I can't pretend I didn't think it. I love her. And I think I've stopped wanting to hide it. Because the way we love each other is so real that it overflows. It spills onto the screen. Into photographs. Into every room we're in. Into every little moment we think nobody notices. We never announced it. We never had to. And somehow, everyone still seems to know. Maybe they always have. #lenamiu #lalinalena #miunatsha #creatorsearchinsights #girlslovegirls
