Sorry he starts with “there is an arrow of time because entropy is increasing” that’s the same as saying “there is an arrow or time because there is an arrow of time” it’s saying nothing at all.

Maybe we give too much credit to time or we give too much importance to it. Time is felt as a series of events that tends from point A to point B. Time has no values for the universe. The universe "started" at point A and we're heading towards point B. It's just an evolution through changes.

Arthur Eddington’s Arrow of Time. Also, after the heat death of the universe black holes will still exist. They’re literally time Gods. Nothing new will be created like stars or universes, but black holes will still be here.

Even if you only allow for an expanding only universe, even one that is increasing in its rate of expansion, we're barely at the beginning of the life of the universe.

If there were crunches, wouldn’t the dispersion of elements be different? How would the crunch get us back to a quark gluon plasma to cycle through the formation of heavier elements again? I thought that the current distribution was accounted for based on the initial state. Does the crunch heat everything to the point where all atomic structure breaks down again?

“There is no arrow of time to reverse”. This must be true before the big bang AND after the Big Crunch. Right? Why do people have a hard time (ha) coming to terms with this. “What happened before the big bang?” Nothing. Time is space. No space no time. Nothing happened before the bang because there was no before. It’s the beginning of the tape. What I’m trying to say is “be kind rewind”.
