This guy missed that day at school. Anyone topping with these cans. I used to recover Freon but it got to the point I was having problems using it. The filter in the machine would plus up. After changing a few filters I called the manufacturer. Using a can of sealer, and topping it off with a can of the stuff you buy in the store is the wrong way to fix it. It won’t stop a compressor seal leak. The refrigerant is not the same as what comes in a 30 pound jug. It’s a mixture, a quick temperature fix. Most use and expansion valve, and some like gm use an orfice. A meshed tube white a small tube that sprays out the high pressure liquid. When the mesh gets plugged it doesn’t work. The sealer contains a moisture activated epoxy . If you have moisture in the system it turns hard and plugs the system. Use it only when th e system is evacuate and purged to 32 inches of vacuum for half hour. Ac systems are neglected. No different than the unit at home.
