@ladypenglovesyou: Years ago I was waxing nine hours a day, no lunch, and still drowning in credit card debt with a six-figure IRS bill. I didn't find a hack. I didn't start another side hustle. I just made boring decisions over and over. 1. I ran every business expense through one credit card. If money left, I saw it leave. No more blind spots. 2. I sat down once a week and logged every charge. $5 or $500, it got tracked. No more "it's probably fine." 3. For every purchase, I stopped asking "do I like this?" and started asking "do I need this?" Canceled everything that I didn't need. This alone found me $40k. 4.
