@tomthepharmacist: As a pharmacist I hear this ALOT. Women not realising they’re in perimenopause because they’re still getting their periods or don’t have hot flushes. You don’t have to get the most common symptoms to be perimenopausal. Women can still get a period but they will start to become heavier or more erratic. Menopause is one day. The one year anniversary since your last period. You can be in perimenopause for on average 7-10 years before that! The earlier you detect perimenopause the sooner you can ask for help. Hop over to the other platform where I have free trackers available. These can be a great help to show your doctor. HRT is not suitable for everyone or you may choose not to use it. But being aware of your symptoms of perimenopause can explain why you feel different. HRT can help your longterm health long after perimenopause. I hope this helps? still don't have hot flushes and my periods have gone, I'm only 47 and I think I started at 38 with symptoms. just wish they'd stop focusing purely on estrogen, utrogestan makes the biggest difference to me and now I need to look at testosterone.

Also my 'flushes' were more like prickly heat, no sweats, not what I thought they were at all.
