I think it’s lazy writing but ☝🏻 I can imagine her having a slither of hope because she did help him after all. Like being in denial that his choice will very likely be Mia. I could understand that choice after the boat section because then we have way more info about Mia’s involvement in all that crap happening there but at that point in the game? It doesn’t really make sense.

The first play through of the game of course you instantly pick Mia because she’s our character’s wife. But then anytime you replay the game. You never choose Mia again.

chosing mia makes more sense when ure chosing as ethan (as in what he'd chose) but chosing zoe makes more sense if ure chosing as u, as a player if u know what i mean
