Its name means "The Living King", referring to the legend of Qusam ibn Abbas, a cousin of the Prophet Muhammad, who is believed to be buried here. As you walk through its narrow passageways, you'll discover some of the finest blue mosaics in Central Asia, alongside the ornate mausoleums of Timurid royalty and nobility. Every step feels like walking through centuries of history. 💡 Tips: • Visit early in the morning for the best light and fewer crowds. • Dress respectfully, as this is still an active pilgrimage site. • Take your time—some of the most incredible details are hidden in the intricate tilework.
