Happy New Year! I first posted this recipe 2 years ago and I got a mountain of comments from people claiming that they “can tell [I] didn’t clean my chitlins good.” So interesting that people can tell that they weren’t cleaned properly but they can’t tell that they aren’t even chitlins. 🤭 The moral of the story is to ignore your critics, they has no clue what they’re talking about. This is my first video with my new camera, what do you guys think about the quality?! Ain’t Chitlins 6 chicken thigh skins 1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce 1/2 tsp Maggi jugo 1 tbs oil 1/4 onion, chopped 1/4 bell pepper, chopped 1 stalk celery, chopped 3 cloves garlic, minced 2 green onions, sliced 1 tsp chicken bouillon 1/2 tsp Lawry’s seasoned salt 1/4 tsp black pepper 1 cup low sodium chicken broth 2 small bay leaves Hot sauce Wash, pluck, and slice chicken skins. Add Worcestershire sauce and Maggi Jugo. Toss and refrigerate. Heat oil in medium saucepan. Add onions, bell pepper, celery, garlic, and green onions, sautéing for 2 minutes between additions. Stir in seasonings, broth and bay leaves. Bring to a simmer. Stir in chicken skins, cover, and reduce heat to medium low. Cook for 25 minutes or until chicken skins are tender. #chitterlings #Recipe #newyear #soulfood #fyp
