One of my problems with the finale is that I, personally, can't see Asa and Anthony as Aziraphale and Crowley. For me all the memories and experiences are very important for the character's arcs. Their humans versions have a COMPLETELY different lives and even if some of their traits are similar it's still not the same cause they grew up in a different environment. Aziraphale that I know would never sell his books and Anthony has a too ordinary walk to be Crowley. You can't just kill my favourite characters, then show that they're happy in another life and hope that I'll be alright with it. I don't care about a universe that I know nothing about. I also despise memory loss trope (it's even worse here cause it's the erasure of everything not just memories). Their history is one of the reasons I loved them so much and now I'm just supposed to accept that it had never happened? All their adventures, all their growth? I loved these characters with all their traumas and flaws. And after everything that happened to them I wanted them to be able to find a peaceful happy life, finally be able to heal from their traumas. I'm tired of bittersweet (although there was nothing sweet for me) endings in almost every queer show I watch. I had so much hope in good omens cause y'know it's a comedy not a tragedy. And none of you would've said a month ago that that's the only way they could be happy but I guess it's because last seasons weren't so fcking depressing #goodomens #ineffablehusbands #aziracrow #goodomens3 #goodomensedit
