@ma_devereux.08: This year I had the opportunity to be part of Western University’s WISE (Western Initiative for Scholarly Excellence) Program. WISE is a competitive program that accepts only 100 high school students from across Ontario each year to be in classes at Western. Through the program, I completed BUS 1220 (a first year case based intro to business course) and earned a free, transferable university credit. the program gave me so much insight into what university life will be like next year inside and outside of the classroom and allowed me to experience the expectations of post-secondary before graduating high school. The program is completely free, although there is quite a lengthy and competitive application process making it an amazing opportunity for strong students who want to challenge themselves and get a head start on university!
