@chinaharrisss: Another day, another update. Today I have a few things to do. I have an interview at 9am, so I’ll be going there (currently 6am). I have to enroll my children in childcare (found childcare with a very small $30 weekly copay finally after my Urban League Voucher). I also have to get some nonperishables and microwaveable foods to last us from the grocery store; as there isn’t a stove here unfortunately. Looking into maybe finding an air fryer, or a hot pot of some type. Not sure! I also have to visit the SNVRHA to meet with my caseworker to see if there is ANY way I can get some type of faster emergency housing. Most people won’t care to read all of this probably, but some of you did ask for updates so I’m trying to keep those who care in the loop! Outside of that, I just wanted to share my morning so far. I woke up at 5am today because I couldn’t sleep and I cuddled with my kids for a bit. I enjoyed watching them sleep. I enjoyed being able to breathe and take in their faces and their peacefulness. They looked so stressed last week and I felt awful. I’m so thankful for all of you, and every day, I need every one of you to know that. #strugglingbuttrying #fyp #housingcrisis #strugglingmom #singlemom
