A favorite of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Akzhan has drawn attention both in Kazakhstan and abroad, becoming a symbol of grace, nobility and the enduring spirit of the Great Steppe. Her name, which translates as pure soul, carries symbolic meaning associated with honesty, integrity, harmony and respect for society.
