I’m confused by these comments. No one is saying men’s/father’s lives don’t change at all after kids. But it isn’t 50/50 at all. Women risk their lives during pregnancy, labor, birth, and post partum. It’s not the same at all and it’s okay to acknowledge that.

Does she think that if she had never worked on a career, she would have felt differently about the “pressures” of motherhood that changed her life? I hold a really unpopular opinion that this modern career focused, boss babe culture is killing marriage & family. It’s making women resentful with extremely high standards while simultaneously making men incompetent in the home, less successful in their careers, & overall less attractive to their partners.
