My kakwa rounded out still and lifted off my shoulders. Tried everything but couldn’t get the fit right when fully loaded. so I had to bail on it and go with a different pack.

The argument fails from the get go, an ultra light pack is only worth it if your entire gear set is ultra light. And I don’t get the whole weight thing either. If you have even normal strength in your legs, the difference in a 6kg ultra light gear vs 14kg normal setup YOU WILL NOT FEEL A DIFFERENCE…. In my opinion the comfort is greater than ultra light, even if I carry more than double the weight

I have the 55, I love it so far but trying to figure out the best way to utilize it since it’s pretty minimal. Any tips on that

I just bought the 65 since it was only 30$ more at the time.

Hard impact on a hollow tube will cause the tube to totally fail. I wouldn't risk that. I'm sure it's fine for easy American trails though, which I guess is what these ultralight packs are for.
