Your argument assumes what you're trying to prove. Just because a story appears in an apocryphal gospel doesn't mean the Qur'an copied it. That's called genetic fallacy—judging a claim solely by where you think it came from. . The early church rejected the Infancy Gospel of Thomas as Scripture, but that doesn't prove every detail in it is false. Even the Gospel of John says Jesus performed many miracles that were never written down (John 20:30; 21:25). So how do you know this wasn't one of those preserved oral traditions? . Similarity is not evidence of copying. If two books mention the same event, you still have to prove who borrowed from whom. You haven't done that—you've only shown they share a story. . That's not evidence against the Qur'an. It's an assumption dressed up as proof.
