@allijaeger: For us, rescue isn’t just about getting dogs off the streets… it’s about showing these pups (and the people following their stories) how to truly live✨🌊🐾 Watching a dog experience joy for the very first time will never get old💗 We first spotted this little guy across the street trying to tear into a bag of trash, desperately searching for his next meal, only to be chased away by a bigger, stronger dog before he could even get a bite🥹💔 We followed him down a dirt road where it was obvious he was terrified of us… but hungry enough to accept a little food. That’s when we scooped him up and promised him he’d never have to go to bed hungry again! We named him Tio because he looked like Bodie’s scruffy little uncle and completely gave off “Tío Borracho” vibes😂🍻 For the first few days, Tio hid under our truck. I told him the world could be beautiful. He just had to trust us, and we would show him! One evening, the sky lit up, we were spinning around under the colors, hooting and hollering, just grateful to be alive… and Tio finally got curious about what all the fuss was about and came trotting across the beach to join us!💕 After that, Tio stopped hiding, and decided to start living! He became Bodie’s little shadow, following him everywhere. Bodie showed him how to dig holes in the sand, chase the waves, relax, play, and simply be a dog! I’ll never forget the first time Tio did a full sprint down the beach🥲🌊 It was EPIC!! We made so many incredible memories together, explored so many beautiful places, and through those experiences, Tio’s confidence grew so much! That’s when we knew he was ready… He flew to Oregon, where his forever family picked up right where we left off and the world had finally become the beautiful place we’d promised him it could be🥹✨
