great point however what if we considered also that the ugly is just the future before people catch on? i feel like maybe both perspectives are fixed when there is an alternative such as dario vitale’s versace collection, ghesquière’s last LV collection, or even on a smaller scale, dauan jacari for 2025 london fashion week. these are all works that could be “ugly” but people fail to consider that we know nothing about how people can take things in the future. great topic.
