my land cruiser does it automatically when I put on park and automatically engaged the hand brake. so by a real land cruiser owner this is pointless lol🤣

Very few drivers know this.
When you want to stop and park, you shift from Drive to Neutral, engage handbrake first, then shift to Parking.

It automatically releases the handbrake when It passes by reverse so you gotta hold the brakes shift to park then engage the handbrakes then you can release the brakes👍
