his character is deep on so many levels, his whole life from what we see is complex, and his trauma is overlooked. his character is one of the most interesting to me. his bright and chirpy attitude and behaviours throughout the manga/anime, whether intended or not, is SUCH a good representation of depressive coping. both him and geto have such amazingly written characters that can relate back to the struggles alot of people face in the real world. as well as their friendship, (i am a satosugu shipper) its realistic in comparison to friendships often ending due to miscommunication or mental health issues. i wish people gave their characters more thought instead of just "getos a weak character", "gojos so hot".

Gojo and Megumi are my favorite characters 😭 I love them so much, both of them are so complex and well-written, but the fandom just seems incapable of understanding them, they reduce Megumi to "Potential Man" or "fraud" and Gojo to "the strongest" or "weaker than Sukuna" when that's exactly why Gojo suffers so much 💔 they talk about him like he's a weapon, but he's just a broken teenager who lost his best friend and is forced to live all alone

When I say that I see myself in him people like to say it’s some corny shi like “you ain’t a strong handsome man” when it was never about that in the slightest. His lively and protective funny personality is him coping with the deep issues within him, the deep wounds nobody talks about. The years of coping and being strong on your own. The protection you’re trying to give your loved ones and blaming yourself when failing. Having so much weight and responsibility on your shoulders that you’ve never actually taken upon yourself. Yet still keeping a smile. That’s what I see.

he is literally the definition of Trauma if it isn't treated and goes unnoticed for way too long. I might not be as good as these people in the comments but I do rlly believe in alot of people when they say I'm Geto in a way, no just the way I fit his personality, but the way I view the world the way he does. everyone bff I have, is my Gojo to my Geto. 🙂‍↕️
