Couldn’t agree w you more. The rabbit hole into proper boots start w the IR. And despite adding more boots on the rack over the years, my iron rangers still get worn often.

Had mine for 11yrs, still same insole. You can find factory seconds for like half the price. I bought a 2nd pair as seconds and still haven’t been able to find the mistake on them.
