I had memory bears made with my husbands favourite clothes, shirts and pj’s. Gave them to his siblings and our two kids and 1 for me x

I remember a friend who lost her husband after me saying she couldn't bear to open the wardrobe and not see any of his things 😔 I was the opposite, I couldn't bear to open it to see all his clothes when he was no longer here to wear them 😢 Everyone is different, there is no right or wrong

first time ive seen you. i lost my husband 18 months ago, we had 6 weeks notice before he passed. weve got 2 kids. 12 months later (this yr) i lost my mum. 2 funerals ive sorted in 12 months.

I feel so sad seeing you cry but you have to be strong. There's no prior notice or practice against grieving so it makes the situation so difficult to navigate. Grief can never be conquered or get healed of completely but we must learn to live with it. I used to think to I was too young of being a widow because I never spent much time with my hubby before his demise. we were just a young couple still trying to enjoy ourselves and make memories but here I am all alone. I'm scared of involving myself with anyone because I don't just know what will happen next. My greatest fear is being left alone and I don't just know if I should or shouldn't love again.

I know exactly what you ar e going through had the same when I lost my husband 16 yrs ago.I kept alot of his things & clothes too. Its so hard not having them there anymore But just do what is good for you take care & God Bless 🙏 🙏

I'm sorry darling. I'm in the same boat as you. It's three months and I have folded things away in his wardrobe but can't bear to do anything with them yet. Nothing smells of him anymore but I have put his aftershave in a reed diffuser and that helps me. Thinking of you xx
