@hilaaltheinvestor: I was kindly invited to a gorgeous event curated by My Nawaab and @diamond.galore . They just renovated their banqueting hall in Manchester and it was stunning. A room full of female founders, creatives, entrepreneurs. And one thing that hit me leaving, the art of networking is something everyone should learn to master. It’s a skill you fine tune over the years. I absolutely love connecting with people from different industries. I take time with it. I listen. I build real relationships. And if it’s not a connection for me, it’ll be a connection for someone in my network. But the most vital part is following up. If you’ve got a contact list full of amazing people but you never check in, never follow up, those connections mean nothing. They just sit there.
