I just think it’s ridiculous they gave her a slightly longer dress made of ice in her animations, like they couldn’t have just given her the slightly longer dressed to begin with. Hopefully they at least fix the clipping.

In the old days (17th to 18th centuries), ballet dancers used shoes with a heel, because they were inspired by dress shoes and royal fashion of the time. I think they could have taken this as an inspiration, but they should have given Odette an outfit from that time, and these were long, heavy dresses.

it’s stupid i know it was would be kind of awkward to animate but the excuse of dancers wearing heels before point shoes were invented doesn’t exactly work well cause she’s based of swan lake a romantic ballet and in that era point shoes were introduced

i did ballet for a few years, in the 15th-16th century they used heeled shoes it was not until the 1730-1820 they started using pointe and slippers
