I did this when I had to have dental implants done that wasn’t covered by my insurance. Allowed me to spread the $5000 out over a reasonable time. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have been able to afford it.

Keep in mind, care credit has an extremely high interest rate. If you’re lucky enough to own a house and have equity, a HELOC is a lot more cost effective. I just got one for my dental implants, and will be saving myself tens of thousands of dollars over time. Not everyone is in the place to do this, but something I will always recommend!
