ADHD Problem #90210 😂🧠 I don't procrastinate until the deadline… I wait until the deadline unlocks my superpowers. ✨ Give me two weeks to do something and my brain is like, “We have plenty of time.” Give me two hours, a little panic, 47 thoughts happening at once, and a Dr Pepper? Suddenly I'm in CEO mode. 😂 Focused. Productive. Creative. Getting EVERYTHING done. And while ADHD can be funny sometimes, there's another side of it that I don't talk about nearly as much. Sometimes ADHD makes me feel like I'm annoying everyone around me. I talk too much. I get excited and interrupt. I jump from one subject to another because somehow all 14 stories are connected in my head. 😂 I overshare. I forget things. I send another message because I forgot something in the first three. I get really excited about an idea and immediately want to tell someone EVERYTHING about it. And then later? I replay it all. Did I talk too much? Was I annoying? Did I overwhelm them? Why did I say that? Did their tone change? Should I stop texting? Maybe I need to back off. Sometimes I'll go from completely being myself to wanting to disappear because my brain convinced me I was too much. That's the part people don't always see. They see the bubbly, spontaneous, idea-filled version of me. They don't necessarily see the overthinking afterward. I'm learning that I can work on myself without constantly trying to make myself smaller. Yes, I can learn to listen better. I can slow down. I can respect boundaries. I can recognize when my ADHD brain is taking over. But I don't need to apologize for every part of my personality. I'm energetic. I'm emotional. I'm affectionate. I'm spontaneous. I'm curious. I'm full of ideas. And when I care about something or someone I care. ❤️ Some days my ADHD feels like a superpower. Other days it makes me question absolutely everything about myself. And some days it's both before lunch. 😂 I'm slowly learning that I don't have to spend my entire life asking, “Am I too much?” I just need people in my life who understand that sometimes there's a lot happening inside this brain of mine and underneath all of it is someone who genuinely cares. So yes… I might procrastinate until the deadline activates my superpowers. I might tell you five stories at once. I might get ridiculously excited about something small. And I might occasionally forget why I walked into the room. But I'm learning to give myself the same patience and understanding that I'm always so willing to give everyone else. ❤️🧠✨ #ADHD #ADHDWomen #ADHDBrain #ADHDLife
