I worked at this stadium for 3 years in culinary and it absolutely corrupted any ability to be WOW’d in other stadiums 😂

Native Atlantan here- also a teacher who has been on over 20 behind the scenes tours of the Benz- trust me it’s worth it. You should see the locker rooms, the Mercedes Lounge and all the art- literally it houses a museum worth of art that’s amazing. It’s also a Platinum LEED which means it produces Zero waste and has its own water filtration system. Food is also super cheap. Arthur Blank- the billionaire owner and builder has done so much in giving back and to the community- he just donated a new Children Healthcare of Atlanta building.

It’s not only the best venue, it’s the most convenient in the US for access to public transit. Which is odd considering public transit as a whole in Atlanta is trash in comparison to NY and Boston.

This and Sofi are the 2 best for numerous reasons but mainly due to the extreme heat now, a closed stadium is much needed. What puts Mercedes Benz over Sofi are the cheap prizes for concessions and the easy access from Marta Train station. You can park at any Marta train station for free and catch the Marta right to the stadium.

If you like stuff like avengers, marvel cinematic universe, the vampire diaries, stranger things, etc, it’s also filmed in atl and surrounding areas, can visit those filming spots if you are into them.

I was there a year ago today in one of the suits when they held the fifa practice game! They couldn’t open the roof bc it was raining tho :( but in my reply the roof was open for the Coldplay concert!
