Yes it makes totally sense, but after 8 years of dating an avoidant and missing affection and every kind of closeness I think I had enough of trying to be the one that always understands his needs when he never understands mine. I learned to feel comfortable with my own company and also prefer it to any other company, is there anyone else that feels this way? Sometimes I realize I am nolongher looking forward to having a relationship with an other human. So am I becoming an Avoidant too?

Nah he never stopped doing his fave things, im just the reason he doesnt have as much time for it anymore. Like he has 25% less time for it (still he got hours everyday for it). I just wish I could find my own hobbies but im an equestrian without a horse lmao. Got no other hobbies and everything else is too expensive to start bc im pretty broke. And without a car but problem is he is the only one who can teach me bc my family is out of the picture. Wish me luck lmao

why do people tend to say avoidant partners are obsessed - self preservation tends to manage the avoidant from tipping their partner apart. it's abuse and coercive control.
