✨HIDDEN GEM MICHELIN-RATED THAI FOOD IN LA✨ One of the craziest things about the LA food scene is that sometimes the best food can be found in an unassuming strip mall. That’s definitely the case with Luv2Eat Thai Bistro, which looks like a random Hollywood strip mall spot but is actually a Michelin Guide restaurant! Luv2Eat was inspired by the two chefs’ family recipes straight from Phuket, Thailand, so you know the huge menu is packed with super authentic Southern Thai food. For the less adventurous, all the classics are on the menu (lovingly looking at you, people who only ever order Pad Thai), but I’d definitely recommend checking out their Chef’s Specials section for unique and authentic dishes you probably won’t find elsewhere. I got three of their most famous dishes: the Phuket Style Crab Curry Kanomjean which was perfectly spicy and insanely flavorful (ask them to turn down the spice if you can’t handle Thai-level spicy), the Jade Noodles with 3 BBQ Pork, Crispy Pork, and Roasted Duck which is a great option for meat and noodle lovers, and the Hat Yai Fried Chicken which deserves just as much hype as Korean fried chicken! To drink, I got the classic Thai Iced Tea and the unique Pink Milk which both paired perfectly with the food and helped to quell the spice. Luv2Eat Thai Bistro is walk-in only (no reservations), but I was seated immediately for an earlier dinner at around 5:30pm.
