@byjaniceayers: A 54-year-old Rolling Meadows man has been charged after police say he secretly recorded a young boy inside a men's restroom at Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, Illinois. According to the Schaumburg Police Department, officers responded to the mall after receiving reports of a suspicious person allegedly recording a child. Investigators allege the man used his cellphone to record a boy who was using the restroom stall next to him. The suspect, identified as Samuel Nutt, was arrested at the scene and has been charged with one felony count of unauthorized videotaping of a minor. He appeared in court for a detention hearing and is scheduled to return to court on July 24. Additional details about the victim have not been released. Cases involving the alleged exploitation or unlawful recording of minors are treated as serious offenses.
